Before joining Shield Research in early 2016, Sarah Truckey worked as a writer, editor, photographer, teacher, and consultant in the media industry, collaborating with clients on an array of deliverables, including magazines, scripts, websites, and marketing campaigns.
She took over as president of Shield Research in late 2020.
Truckey is now guiding Shield to focus on both political and non-political clients, using a unique approach honed by her background in journalism, advertising, and content strategy. She holds a B.A. in Media Communications, with an emphasis in Media Literacy, from Webster University (St. Louis, Missouri/Geneva, Switzerland).
