Opposition Research

Our opposition research draws on news clippings, voting history and scores of public records, including court documents, police incident reports, campaign donations, bankruptcy records, tax liens, property rolls and business incorporation records.

We check to see if the opposition is exaggerating on their résumé and being truthful about their education and work history, as well as whether they meet all the criteria for a particular office, including residency.

Our fluency with public records is the best in the business. Time and again, we get the documents that no one else can.

Shield puts everything you need to know about the opposition at your fingertips — are reports are heavily-cited, factually bulletproof and contain secure hyperlinks to all primary documents cited in the report.

We don’t believe in charging clients a retainer fee, either — all books are updated throughout the campaign (at no additional charge) and we are ALWAYS available for conference calls, poll formulation and candidate prep.
